Results of a national study of deforestation drivers in Tanzania. The data shows the results of ground survey plots from 119 randomly selected deforestation events across Tanzania. Deforestation events cover the period 2010 to 2015/16/17. Results of informant interviews are also included. The data describe the prevalence of agriculture, charcoal, fire, wood fuel collection, timber harvesting and livestock grazing in deforestation events across the country. Details on crops and fallow status are also included. Data was collected in 2018.
